Our client is a new start up Halal food manufacturing well-established company from Japan. They are setting up new factory in Johor Bahru, Gelang Patah area.
Lead the overall operations of the factory, including production, quality control, logistics, and maintenance.
Develop and implement operational strategies, processes, and systems to optimize production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure adherence to all food safety, health, halal and regulatory compliance standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO, Halal).
Manage the setup and commissioning of the new factory, including coordination with suppliers, contractors, and government authorities.
Oversee resource allocation and manage labour, materials, and equipment to ensure timely production and delivery.
Lead and motivate a diverse team, providing training and development to ensure high performance.
Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Japan teams to align production goals with overall business objectives.
Manage the budget for the operations department and ensure cost control measures are in place.
- Degree in Engineering, Food Science or related field.
Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in manufacturing preferably with food manufacturing experience..
