Job Descriptions
- Directly lead and handle a group of operators and/or technicians to meet the production department goals on Safety/Quality/Control/ Delivery and Efficiency
- Ensure all employees are working in a safe manner/environment, with a commitment to safety policies and comply to documented procedures
- To ensure the quantity of the products is produced as per schedule planned
- To ensure the processing lines and machines are set up according to SOP for each and every production run
- To conduct daily briefing to line leader and operators on the production planned
- Perform problem-solving to develop corrective actions for quality and delivery issues or to initiate continuous improvement
- Coordinate with speed to our internal customers and fulfill their requirements as and when required
- Daily monitoring of Work in Progress performance to ensure WO close on timely manner to meet shipment needs
- Responsible for daily/ weekly/ monthly/ quarterly reporting for KPI areas
- Lead the scheduling and effectiveness of all production employee training, making sure all employees in their assigned department are trained on job operations and qualified in proper work processes
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in technical fields preferred; Mathematics, Pure Sciences & Engineering. Advanced degrees or equivalent experience in other fields will also be considered
- Prior certification or experience in Lean Manufacturing would be added advantage
- Have some influential skills and soft skills to cultivate relationship building and to drive results
- Able to travel and work in shift patterns as & when a business need arises
- Individuals with shown leadership skills and enjoy working with little or no direct supervision
