About our Client
The client is 1 of the subsidiaries under a Group of companies in Germany. They are the leading cable and connectivity solutions provider in ASEAN. They bring value to their customers by localizing their German innovation, manufacturing our high-quality products in Indonesia, and complementing this with a suite of products sourced from world-renowned brands. Due to expansion, they are currently looking for Sales Engineer.

The role is responsible to achieve the sales and income targets by identifying own sales pipeline and qualifying opportunities for the range of products sold and assigned by the Company.
 
Job Responsibilities 
  • Initiates, promotes and develops sales opportunities by undertaking daily customers’ visits, telephone calls and/or meetings (physical and/or online meetings) to solicit for repeat, increased and/or new products sales in order to achieve the targeted income target as assigned by the Company.
  • Manages and drives the growth of existing accounts and product mix of the customers as per annual targets.
  • Plans with the Sales Manager to develop and enhance the competitiveness and profitability of the business through customers, competitors and market intelligence, effective sales strategies and marketing mix.
  • Identifies and establishes new customers as well as new business opportunities to ensure successful market penetration and development, with special emphasis on the project and end user market.
  • Establish good rapport with the various level in the organizations and other suppliers (if any) and to liaise with them on customers’ needs.
  • Plans and conducts technical seminars or solutions/product demonstration to prospective customers in a professional manner.
  • Conducts regular visits to customers, after which to update the C4C system with the right and complete information; establishes healthy customer relations and cement strong relationships that support long-term sales objectives. 
  • Acquires in-depth knowledge of customers’ businesses, behaviors and their company structures in order to provide solutions through efficient technical and commercial service/support.
  • Prepares product costing and works out quotations for customers.
  • Attends to customers' complaints and enquiries with professionalism and integrity.
 
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience in related field from process automation, system integration/ design, or heavy industry.
  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
  • Possess good communication skills
  • Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin
  • Excellent sales, negotiation and presentation skill in English
  • Friendly disposition, proactive and a good team player
