JOB DESCRIPTION
The Data & Digital Transformation Officer (DDO) plays a key role in advancing digitalization within the organization. This position involves providing data-driven insights and solutions to support sales and service operations. The DDO will use analytical, statistical, and programming skills to manage and interpret large datasets, helping to solve business challenges.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business and Data Analysis
Conduct thorough research on market conditions, customer trends, competitor activities, and future opportunities to assess business potential.
Select and employ optimal tools and methods to analyze data correlations and patterns.
Analyze data to uncover patterns and correlations and produce standard and on-demand reports.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s products and services, including their value propositions.
Data Stewardship & Information Management
Oversee data quality, establish guidelines for data management, and maintain a data catalog.
Ensure data quality and develop easy-to-understand reports for internal stakeholders.
Develop strategies for data management in line with digital transformation goals and support the implementation of digital projects.
Compliance & Stakeholder Management
Follow the organizational framework, address deviations promptly, contribute to daily operations, and participate in improvement activities based on
Engage with customers, dealers, service teams, sales, parts, business unit management, Scania corporate organizations, and suppliers
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
Minimum 4 years prior experience in a Data Science, Business Analyst or similar data strategy role is advantageous.
Familiarity with workshop, sales, services delivery, and order-to-delivery processes, as well as compliance with SHE and SRS principles, business plans, market plans, and ethical guidelines.
Strong ability to analyze market trends and apply business knowledge to enhance organizational performance.
Proficient in collecting and analyzing data to create clear and actionable reports.
Skillful in using insights on market trends and business risks to inform decisions.
Capable of delivering unique and actionable insights to both internal & external stakeholders.
Willingness to be based in Shah Alam.
